    Thanx, the only sandpaper I had was 220 and I might have made a major newbie error..

    Darn nice W&B for the money!!!! If it were me I'd clean it as well as I could with MAAS and leave it. But thats just me. Nice razor!!

    Thanx guys, I think the seller teaches a lesson on how NOT to photograph a razor. The plaid background made it look like it had a couple of major nicks on the blade. I'm sure it cost him some $$

    I think you're right . I would have bet money that there were nicks in the edge . I glad you didn't get screwed , and congrats on getting a hell of a deal .

    I just sent this and 9 other razors to be honed/restored/evaluated. I think this one would make an excellent restore I hope my picture taking skills improve before it returns.

    I agree with Crichton. I'm not a fan of sandpaper. If the razor is old, I don't think it's such a bad thing to have residual pitting showing the age of the razor. Like my wrinkles, they show character!
