People feeling offended by other people's observations generally tells more about the person that felt offended than about the observer.

I believe greediness is in all of us, probably for evolutionary reasons. But the day we allowed it to become the engine of our society, we made a big mistake for the future of our species. Sometimes I feel like walking in the street and all people are wearing their underpants on top of their heads, and then they act as if I'm the one that's crazy. (which is possibly true).

People paying megabucks for razors from a company that never even produced razors, but marketed them in an incredibly smart way, that's quite an observation for me. (I'm sure they are fine shavers, as I'm equally sure that my powerful imagination boosts my Bartmann's performance a bit further, when I stand in front of my mirror knowing that I spend well over 100$ for that razor.)

We're all humans and we all need to find a balance between being sensible and more primal driven tendencies such as RAD en HAD.
But the day we allow ourselves being insulted over a futile piece of metal we hold to our skin for facial hair removal, we have drifted a bit off course. I know I have.

BTW, I think we should at least be searching for a better way to organize our society than the mess we made from it so far. If that makes me a communist, I'll wear that title with pride.

    Best regards,

    Bart.
