    Dreadnought point? Perhaps they were not named such until later when the Royal Navy ships with such bows came along.

    OK I will switch it over to a Spanish point in the add. The wedge pin is mentioned in the disclosure and it is the result of the blade being a wedge and pushed into teh scales. that forces them into the ivory/bone/tusk scales and causes the split. I have a dozen blades like that and it is typical of the older blades. They don't really need stabilization if you don't go slamming the razor into the scales but I sealed it with CA and sanded them smooth. No more problems there.

    This is a great set, masterfully restored. You should get a very nice price and deservedly so.
