Thanked: 4I think prices are down across the board. I've picked up a few NOS/minty razors recently for less than they'd have sold for 6 months or so ago...but then I still see inexplicably high prices from time to time, so who knows
I've been buying ALOT lately, primarily because I feel like I'm getting bargains on razors I've wanted but passed on in the past.

Prices in the classifieds went down right away compared to the B/S/T. But it does seem that prices have continued to go down. I typically sell in the classifieds, and I have noticed that sales have been rather slow, which results in dropping prices. Seems demand is down on the classifieds.

I think it's across the board too. I sell razors on occassion. They have sold for much less on eBay. Razors that used to sell for $175 are now going for $105. However, razors that I sell on the forums still sell quickly though.
I'm going to test the trend because I will be selling a few rare razors soon. We'll see how well they do.Last edited by TstebinsB; 12-03-2008 at 03:46 PM.

Well, I got outbid on 3 auctions in the last 24 hours, so much for the prices going down
Man, there was such a nice Böker
Okay, guess it's time to check out the local antique store. Talking business to the seller as one man to another.
Damn girlie-eBay I don't need you, I shop like a man.

So gentlemen and ladies too, is it time to buy or sell?

After watching a bit longer, to tell the truth, I don't see that much change. Some things have come down though. I haven't seen the $500 Filly's and the $400 DD GE's like I was seeing a few months ago.

Yeah there was a Dorko recently, NOS (aren't they all? Don't they always seem to be unused and with that little paper ribbon on a string? I swear someone is portioning out NOS Dorkos very very slowly like DeBeers does diamonds) that went for at or around $150. Six months ago that would have went for double that amount.

Thanked: 174Funny thing that, I just did a search for Dorko's on the net.
I found a Russian (I think) internet site and it was selling the same "unusual" Dorko that I saw on E Bay.
It went through my mind that somebody may be copying the razors.
Anyway, I steered clear.
