I really did not want to sell it on ebay, but it had been listed here and on other forums and had not sold. So I went for it. So far I have not heard from the buyer though so maybe it really is not sold after all. The ending bid was about 60 dollars less than I paid for it before it was shave ready.

Don't take this the wrong way at all...........I thought to myself prior to the close that maybe there wouldn't be any bids. Not because your scales weren't impressive and didn't compliment the blade (they did on both counts IMO). But because it's always been curious to me that Ebay has not seemed to be the place for custom razor work. I wish that would change, but for all the time I've been watching that hasn't been the case.

I've noticed that too. I think on ebay people want the original scales in whatever condition they are in, and then if they want to customize they want it their own customization.
