Well, she came today, and it looks like I was mistaken about the hone wear. The blade is just over one inch wide at the heal, but tapers to 8/8 at the middle of the blade and 15/16 just before the heavier wear at the toe where it drops to just under 7/8 at the very tip. I'm not sure if I'll try to keep the full width everywhere or work her down to about 15/16 with a muted square point.

Oh, one little "bonus" which wasn't apparent in the ebay picture: there is an anchor stamped on the tang. Well, about half of the anchor remains; the rest has been rubbed off.
