I won a rescaled vintage Henckels from him yesterday (I love going on ebay during the Superbowl!), and inquired about the Gold Bug. Manfred wants $100 to end the auction early. It appears NOS, but that's more than I want to pay. If anyone wants to go for it, you can email him.

I don't think $100 is a bad price at all. It's mint condition and honed. I'm just thinking what $100 gets you mint and honed these days. Of course, the cheaper the better
I put them on the watch, so we'll see.

NOS Gold Bug? I would think $100 easy. Excellent shavers. Ask if it still has all the gold wash, including on the spine. I once owned one that Traveller had restored.

That's one of the prettiest razors I've ever seen, wow. The way the "Gold Bug" inlay on the scales casts a crisp shadow on the blade when folded closed is just incredible. Before reading this thread, I had already put it in my watchlist just to see what it would go for (I do that a lot to learn). It doesn't fit my current specific acquisition goals and budget so I'm not bidding on it, but it definitely caught my eye when browsing. Yessir.
