    The yellow is a bit thin, but that yellow side would still easily last virtually any razor user a lifetime. No joke. I just got a 5" bonded vintage Coticule/Belgian Blue (back when they were using BBW instead of slate 50+ years ago) that has the yellow about as thin as in this current auction. Beautiful stone. I have not used it yet and therefore have not decided if I'm going to keep it or sell it. My point is, I know that the yellow side on the stone I describe is thin, but I would never personally work through it in my lifetime.
