help im a noob!
hi can any one help??? is this worth the money as a first straight razor? NEW TITANIUM STRAIGHT CUT THROAT RAZOR & LEATHER STROP on eBay, also, Razors Blades, Hair Removal, Health Beauty (end time 15-Mar-09 21:00:00 GMT) happy to send for honing thank you for advice

I've not seen or read anything about those razors in particular, but I'm going to go ahead and say it is most likely a piece of garbage... or maybe a letter opener.

I don't know anything about the str8, but it seems too good to be true. It says "German Steel", not "Solingen". I'd avoid it. Check the Classifieds (above left) for some good deals.

No, it's piece of junk. In your price range your best bet is the classifieds, or a doublearrow/wapi from ruprazor.com.

thank you I've emailed ruprazor for shipping, how much should I pay for a strop, or could I use leather from a jacket (stupid question I know) but any way to save money seems good to me!!

He sells strops for $20, I don't know about the leather from a jacket - I'd imagine no hurt to try, even though my jackets's leather is quite different from the one on my strops.

thank you again I'll probably buy a strop too in that case thank you everybody for all advice hopefully I shall have my first straight shave in around a week

if it's vintage, probably yes, if it's newly made i don't know.
buying a razor without a shaving edge on it is always a risk.
if you can't afford to waste money you should stay away from ebay. yes you may get a better razor for cheaper, but you may just get a piece of junk.
the best way to save money is to purchase something that you can be certain is good.
