    Yeah, I guess I'm not into that kind of hammering, but it sure is an interesting way to do it.

    I agree. It's a bit too "rustic" for my tastes. I think a rough hammer forge finish from Josh Earl is as for as my taste will take me.

    Not sure how they're "supposed" to look but here is my copy.

    Edit; They all come with the bevel shiny for a portion of the edge. That is not the bevel from honing.

    Now that is a nice looking razor, it has the clean lines. From what I know, there are 2 main models of the TI hand forged razor. One is more traditional like yours, the other is left very rough forged with the uneven spine.

    Maybe some would favor the "rustic" look. I would consider it poor workmanship. A second at best.

    I like rustic,even patinaed,but this is beyond that,It's positively moth-eaten looking.
