Thanked: 20Well Dang! I had just noticed the item number and discovered the auction. I don't know that I've ever seen a Norton with the name impressed like a razor hone but I sure will be looking. Crazy price and with no box.

Thanked: 1Is this the Norton Razor Hone that's worth so much?
Is this the Norton Razor Hone that's worth so much? It is 2 1/8" by 5 1/8" and has a black side and a red side. The black side has an oval with the name Norton in it. And it also has the box.

I can't recall the exact look of the Norton stones that go for hundreds and hundreds of dollars among the axman folks, but throw it on ebay and see. Just be sure to put things like:
NORTON HONE AX HONE !!!!!!!
in the title.
Chris L"Blues fallin' down like hail." Robert Johnson
"Aw, Pretty Boy, can't you show me nuthin but surrender?" Patti Smith
