An edge of wire
Notice the edge of the razor in question how it is strangely reflecting like a wire in many places. The edge's reflection should blend in with the bevel all the way across but it does not.
Actually it is probably just a common beat up and minorly damaged edge, but it has that same look as a wire edge

Thanked: 3795I just consider that to be par for the course for an ebay razor. Unless the seller is one of the few well known restorers on ebay, you should never trust descriptions suggesting them to be shave ready.

Am I missing something? he never says in the auction shave ready.
Kudos to him for providing nice close pics of the entire razor.
