Thanked: 3795Just to protect yourself, I'd still put in an "item not received" notification in ebay. That way you are protected if it doesn't show. If it does, then you just cancel it.
I did that once with a razor box. The guy swore he sent it but after a month passed for a shipment between Illinois and Iowa, I was pretty suspicious. I put in the report, ebay/Paypal "reserved" my payment, and when the box showed up two weeks later (six total) I canceled my complaint so he got his money back. BTW, the shipping label showed he sent it four days before I received it.
Your razor likely is in transit, but you want to do the notification before it's too late to file it. When/if it shows up, you can cancel it with no harm done.

Thanks Ron, that is exactly what I did. Paypal allows 45 days to file a dispute and once it is made another 30 to either accelerate it to a claim or cancel it.It won't affect the seller's rating. Only my leaving a negative feedback on ebay will do that.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

When I bought from him, I got my razor in 2 weeks, the second was 3-4. I haven't bought anything from him since basically because he hasn't had what I have been looking for.
(Don't ask me what I have been looking for. I'd have to go all metaphysical on you. Too much work for me, too little return for you)

Thanked: 3795That's the thing, it does not affect the seller in any way other than to put a hold on his payment. There is no feedback/reputation issue at all. A shipment may genuinely be delayed or lost in transit through no fault of the seller but if you wait 45 days before complaining, you're out of luck. If the item shows up, you notify ebay and the seller gets his money. If it does not show up, you get your money back and the seller deals with the shipping recovery and/or monetary loss, not you.
Putting in the report protects you and does not impugn the seller.

I think I may just need to do that. I bought a Morley Chopper and got 2 Durham Duplex.

I picked up 5 or 6 razors from Nazo in the past - all earlier this year. I'd buy from him again. I've gotten my stuff in relatively short timeframes considering it's shipping from Turkey. If it hits over 3 weeks though I'd start to be concerned.
He's been reputable for me so far though. Sounds like the postal system but if I recall, he ships via registered mail so there should be good tracking internally to the Turkish and US systems as all those guys have to sign and acknowledge the package moving through their buildings.
