    OK, I see them now.

    They both look salvageable with minimal work. Perhaps the name is putting guys off? Ebay is weird.

    OK, so I thought the auction for the Filly was over when it wasn't, but that is still pretty low as Fillarmonicas go.

    it's just the nature of marketplace - some razors sell for a lot, others for little and some don't sell at all.
    there are way too many factors to account, so these things don't mean all that much.

    I mentioned this in another post but... here it is again (slightly reworded)

    Buying straight razors can be frustrating for collectors/shavers/restorers.

    Bill Ellis wrote an excellent guide for buying razors on eBay, I believe everyone interested should give it a read.

    Though some things have changed since it was first published (2006) most of it is still relevant, but wouldn’t it be nice if experienced members in the SRP community, publish an “updated” {or i should say} an "extended" Razor Buying Guide.
