I had the same feeling last night concerning one that jumped over $100 last night, both bidders had 0 feedback but it was payed for within minutes of the auction end...

I've never understood that. If nobody bought from or sold from low feedback, Ebay would grind to a halt. It's just silly... no feedback does not equal poor feedback.

I once put on item up at a fixed price of $1,000.00 with a buy it now or best offer option. A guy with zero feedback nailed it within the first day of the listing. I never heard from him again.

This tied me up for a few days as I had to allow a grace period for him to respond and either pay for the item or at least communicate with me to let me know his intentions. Then there was the hassle of requesting credit on final value and listing fees.

When I relisted the item I did so with the "immediate payment required" option which meant that I couldn't use the "or best offer". So we all start out with zero feedback and I don't exclude bidders because they have no history but there is a minority that gives a seller pause when he sees zero feedback on the high bidder of a high dollar item.

I would be surprised if the two zero feedback guys that drove that razor above the $2,600.00 level are ever heard from by the seller.

    Wow you guys.

You don't realize it do you?

Those sure are rare egyptian scarab beetles and they are genuine alive beetles. If you had that razor, according to egyptian lore you could be the master of the world, all powerful omnipotent.

I was going to buy it but Bill Gates was late on his loan repayment to me by a couple of days. I told him never to do that again.

I would pay $10,000 for a King Midas razor. That's the one which turns any other razor it touches into either a Grim Reaper or a Chronik...thus ensuring you a never ending source of cash from eBay! If you believe that, I will sell you my other King Midas!
