    Default Now comes the fear

It looks right -- I bought it. Now comes the nervous time when I wonder what sort of condition it might really be in........ I'm scared because no one was in bidding with me

CALIDAD EXCELENTE - VINTAGE STRAIGHT EDGED RAZOR - eBay (item 120474709708 end time Oct-05-09 11:12:50 PDT)

I'll post pics and let you know if I shaving with it or cutting my wrists with it as soon as it arrives.

I'm no expert but it looks really nice.

Maybe the high starting price scared people off. Not a bad *ending* price, but a bit high for a starting price.

Looks like a Dovo era Bismark, more recent vintage, with generic scales. Should be a good shaver. Maybe the Bismark experts will voice an opinion.

Well it sure looks OK to me. You can only see the face side in the photos but since the seller has 100% it may be that everyone only feels comfortable buying Bismarcks from that vtsolar guy. Hope it works out - if I liked full hollows I'd have gone for it.

Looks great! I have a Bismarck with an identical blade profile, filework and gold wash. Heavy duty and a good shaver. I agree that yours is from the Dovo era. Mine has very heavy and original bone scales. You got a bargain price for an uncommon razor, IMO.
