    The seller has provided me with a wealth of information regarding the maker. Apparently James Dewsnap was a carpenter, a cabinet and box maker. Why is his name on a razor? I'm thinking he paid the W&B factory to have his name printed on razors to accommodate the fine razor cases he sold.

    For your information, I know there is at least another one out there...

    that's pretty cool.
    srp members not bidding on it seems a bit unfair to tony, but at the end of the day it's his choice to keep it listed and probably not everybody will decide to bow out, plus there are many non-srp members.

    i'm rather interested in the camel bone and how did he find out it's that. perhaps he'll post, or you can post if you know.
