That does look questionable. Maybe overheated polishing with a dremel or whatever. Too bad and the scales are wrecked too. I want one of those but a minty one if I ever get one.

I have been on the hunt for an Otto for a couple months now, so when I saw this one I got a little excited. But then I saw the rainbow in all of the pictures I figured I'd share here.

Good luck on the Otto hunt, "justacat". A good looking one will fetch bids to the high-$200's unfortunately

Hopefully Max can bring the life back in this one if not... well was just 50$ so no big loss there and I am pretty sure I will be able to get good shaves from it.

also altima55 sold this one recently for over $300 OTTO DEUTSCH STRAIGHT RAZOR SUPERB COND. & SHAVE READY - eBay (item 150382886688 end time Oct-30-09 17:15:11 PDT)

The thing is that this one has a round tip which to me is clearly been modified... this does not look to be an all original otto and people paid over 300$ for it so I guess my $50 otto will do just fine ... for now
