Default Fil(h)armonica Doble Temple goes for 110 bucks!

Thats right. Misspelled Doble Temple sells for well under $350. What a steal for whoever took that one.

Mislabeled never helps. That's also the smaller #12, which usually doesn't sell for as much. The ones that really fetch the big bucks are the bigger Barber Dura's which are, iirc, 7/8 or thereabouts.

I was high bid at $31 until last 30seconds. Saw one with wear on it go for $20 the other day and thought for a minute that I might win. What do I need a second Fil for, I wondered.

Check this one out, it may have started off it's life as a #14, but more like a #12 now.

I thought the Filly #12 was a haircuitting, not a face shaving model. One of those guys with a lot of NOS Fillies was selling perfect, new haircutting Fillies, and they weren't even going for $50, much less $350.

As for this razor, I actually saw the listing on eBay, but the description looked a little off to me, because it describes the blade as a 6/8, but the photo looks more like a 5/8 or less.

Anyway, hope it works well for whoever bought it.

I'm almost sure the Fillies made for hairdressers are #10s. At any rate the #12s are definitely shavers, excellent ones. They're 5/8 – pretty much the standard for mid-20th-century straights, though people seem to like their Fillies big.
