Thanked: 137Cheap, non-Ebay Filis
Hi all,
Was poking around a new site (advertised in the vendor's corner) and came across this. It's all in Spanish, which I don't speak, but going by the pictures and the numbers on the page, the gist of it appear to be this: NOS Fili #13, 79 Euros. They don't appear to be the prized Doble Temple, but one called the 'Premio de Honor' - no idea what that is though. These are definitely Filis (according to the page "fabricante Filarmonica") though, and a Fili's a Fili, after all.
Knowing how beloved and sought after these guys are (and how high a price they can fetch on EBay currently), I scurried across here to pass the good news on to others.
Feel free to thank me (or gift me one of the Filis - I can't afford one myself.)
Cheers,
Tom

I haven't heard much about Fily's anymore. I love mine, They shave great. That's a good price. I bet someone else found a cache of them somewhere. The last I looked was classic shaving, they had the 3 pin 7/8 Fily's @ 250.00, We need a spanish translator...STAT!
We have assumed control !

I'm still skeptical.Why don't they show a tang stamp in the photos?Manufactured by filarmonica?Or philarmonica?Could be a knock-off.

Thanked: 137That Filamonica/Philharmonic is simply the translator translating the brand name across. If you have questions, check out the vendor's corner - the user 'varonia' has posted a thread letting everyone know about their store, and is happy to answer any questions, so if you want them to post a picture showing the tang stamp or know about total numbers available, that's the way I'd go about it. His English is a damn sight better than my Spanish, so that's probably the way I'd go, rather than trying to decipher pages of text with Google translate.
They also have a nice-looking scuttle for sale on there which he's posted a thread about.
