Every "shave ready" razor I've bought from eBay was a great shaver out of the box. I kept track of those users in my "favorite sellers" list so I know they are legit. Maybe I just got lucky.

    I read this and lol'ed.

I thought I was the only one who remembered some particular folks asking about hones.

    Unbelievable.

Several of the Ebay sellers Jimmy mentioned have been confirmed by several people to apparently sell "shave ready" razors and apparently some others get lucky.

Personally, I would advise those looking to buy a razor on Ebay to buy it for the razor and NOT because it may be "shave ready". If it is, consider it a bonus. I would NEVER assume a razor advertised on Ebay as being "shave ready" would actually be so. Too many wolves.

I would think the "shave ready" tag would be the least of concerns seeing that people are paying over $300 for shortened blades and etc..........I can't believe the money people are giving away!
