    Talking My Razor!

Gentleman, earlier I found a Dewsnap Sheffield Razor bearing my mother's maiden name. You all kindly stepped aside and I won it for a great price. Today, I have found a razor bearing MY last name. I'd like to ask you to check it out, but let it pass if you can.

RASOIR COUPE CHOU ANCIEN KNAUST ET PETERSON STOCKOLM

PS: any idea why the French refer to straight razors as "cut cabbage'?

My last name is henckels, my mothers maiden name is butcher, and my sisters last name is filarmonica. Don't buy these anyone, they are mine!

Bass, nice looking razor, and per your request, I will not be bidding. My normal fee for such a magnanimous gesture is much higher, but since you mention your mother, I will accept $20, which can be paid directly to my Paypal account. And you're welcome!

Seriously, great razor and great find! Now you just need to find one of those cool old shaving mugs with your exact name on it. Unfortunately, the only ones that have survived intact were owned by "Hieronymous T. McMonkeyburger" and other people with similarly improbable names, so good luck! --Jeff

Man, I wish I could find a razor with my name on it, but I doubt that will ever happen - the tang's aren't big enough.

I remember I saw a razor with JoeD's name on it, shot him a PM and he snapped it up right quick. Must be a very cool feeling if it got JoeD to buy a razor... ;-p
