Very nice Imp..I have the Ludo and the 133 Case.. The 133 is been in my rotation for years..It is the on'y one that has made it for the full run...I still like how it takes an edge and holds it for a very long time..The red imp is a rotation keeper if you can land a decent one.

From my experience, It seems to be the Case, whom made the best blade and the cruddiest scales which were of Bakelite with the carbon removed in order to make colors, The scales from the Morrisses always seem ok! If good Case scales, Kinda desirable i suppose! Ludo razors are very rare,it seems. I think the German production was taken over pre WW 2, so it all kindof falls into place. Imps are GREAT. I especially like the 132 wedges!

I was just given a round point Ludo red imp 133 NOS still in the original wax paper:

It was a gift from a old timer acquainted of my father. I just suppose he wanted it to go to someone who would use it.

I have three now, 2 Case 132 and 133 and a Morris 133 that has been sent out to get honed. The Case 132 and 133 shave wonderfully.

I think they are "must have" razor in a rotation.

    Wink Imps!

There is no doubt that any Red Imp is good! However, I must point out that any razor called an "imp" is always meaning a square point to cut you in my understanding! I wonder if Case made an Imp with a roundpoint,or is it just the Germans who changed that??? These are the first Rounders I have seen! Very nice!

I picked up off ebay last week my first Red Imp, #133 9/16 Ludo with its original box. 55$. I'm surprised there is no addition of the Red Imps to the SRP databasehttp://www.ebay.ca/itm/120875418436?...84.m1439.l2649
