No, it's just that shipping times from Karachi are unpredictable these days.
....KIDDING!!!
Actually, I've been following this thread with interest. If anybody can put a shaving edge on one of these big boys, I'm betting holli4 can. If not, I'm steering clear of them.

Thanked: 1936Odd indeed, makes you wonder... Being the skeptic that I am, I have a funny feeling here. I've been lurking on this thread a bit & have a hard time fighting off that skepticism...

I'm wondering if one of us (SRP members) bought that last one that went for $100 + ? I have no doubt that the buzz on the forum stimulated the auction since he hadn't been getting that kind of money in the past. Waiting for the 'lucky' winner to review the razor.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 480I think the answer is fairly plain to see. Did, or did he NOT state, that he was going to increase the hardness on the next razors?
He is not going to send you what he KNOWS wont sharpen well. But since he is in all likelihood assembling blades that are forged elsewhere, he has to wait for who ever is actually creating the steel to rotate through the older stock and send out the higher hardness blades. just my own 2cent
