Antique DUBL DUCK GOLDEDGE Straight Razor,NEW,Wrapped

I saw this on ebay is it worth the 250. Im just wondering because I would like a DD but still being new Im not sure what these things should go for.

A razor is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. DD's are a popular make, but if you keep your eye out you will hopefully be able to snag one for the price you are looking for.

They are good razors though, but it is the NOS tag thats boosting the price on that one.

You're talking about Item number:280503264425 seen here. From what I have seen in the past that current price will double or close to it before it is over. Personally I think it is somewhat of a crap shoot as I would have to see the razor out of the wrapper. Goldedges in nice shape can be had for less than half of what that one is going for now. NOS will always bring a premium. They are good razors BTW but like the Filarmonicas the collector appeal is what is driving the price. IMHO.

I'd have a very hard time buying a razor I've not actually seen, let alone spending that much on a razor I've not actually seen. I also personally don't care about unopened packaging. If you are buying it to actually use the razor, once you open it up she's worth just the same as any other GoldEdge, so why bother with a sealed one unless you're gonna keep it sealed - and if you're gonna do that what's the point in having it?

I wonder if these were packed in oil from the factory.

It's actually already at 280, so it's obviously worth that much to somebody. I know how much its worth to me, and I'm willing to offer this information for the right price via PM, of course
