I am not sure it is a Friodur. It doesn't have the Friodur tang stamp and does not say Inox on it at all. I just posted this to see what others think. If it is a Friodur, then I would be really surprised.

I honestly cannot say that I know for sure. But, I would think that would be a major selling point of the razor if it was a Friodur. I have never seen a Friodur without the Friodur logo on the tang. I would think it should at least say INOX on it somewhere. Looking forward to all of the replies. I have asked the seller about this. I'll post the seller's response once I receive it.

Sorry for teh naive/ignorant question. But did Friodur make 5/8?? From what I have seen there's mostly 8/8 and some 7/8...But, I may, and probably am, wrong .

Henckels made Friodurs from 3/8's to 8/8's from what I have seen. I personally own a 1/2 hollow 5/8's Friodur. It has the Friodur logo on the tang and says Inox, just like all of the other Friodurs I have seen.

Some will have on the scales and shank but others won't
Always it will have on the shank.
I don't think anything wrong with this blade. it looks like original to me.

Neither does one of my old Friodurs....

Without a metallurgical test I doubt you will ever be 100% positive...

No matter what the old books say, we have all seen factory mis-stamps/wrong scaled razors out there....

Bid accordingly and be happy if it shaves well, which most of the older Twins razors do..
