Thanked: 198whats up with this
i have been trying to purchase a lady gillette DE for my daughter off of the bay for the past 2 weeks. what i dont understand is what makes them so darn pricey, i have watched them go for up in the neighborhood of 30 to 50 dollars. Am i missing something here, or is it just the bay doing its normal thing.

Ebay's horrible my friend. No matter what it is, someone esle want's it and you wind up getting "snipped" or "sniped" I try to avoid it all together. For DE's, I don't bid, and use Cedarfurnitureman. He's a little pricey, but normally you can just buy his products. DE's are becoming more and more popular, I'd grab one now before they get any more expensive....

Thanked: 9These razor are popular, and becoming more so these days, also a lot of de users are buying them for thier partners to try a de shave, which again shoots the price up.

Thanked: 74Your best bet for one of those razors is to sit on Badger and Blade's BST and strike at the first opportunity. Oddly enough, I read that men like that razor as well.

Wondering if you ever aquired the lady gillette. I just picked up two from two different people for about $ 14 each and $3 shipping. Both are blue and that seem to be the main color right now. You may have just caught buying in a bad week.

Thanked: 9I have a mint pink one in my rotation, good razors, and after all the head of the lady is actually a superspeed head, the main differance being the long handle, which suited it for use for the ladies, and if you like the superspeeds but prefer a longer handle this razor is for you.
