What a find, amazing. The whole prison story sounds like hogwash to me though.

But if I were a condemned man, I must confess that one final shave with a mint Duck would be a fitting send-off. Yet, not a Lifetime Duck in the bunch. That would be trippy.

Actually when I found the listing the bid was already past $1000. I'm certain the cat was already out of the bag. Anyone who knows what a double duck goldedge is will know from first glance of the pics what that " vintage German razor is". Those pics are pretty darn good pics I might add.

For your last shave as a condemned man, a Grim Reaper would be more appropriate.

Given the lack of photos, that is quite a gamble. Though I'm sure that won't stop the bidders from going insane.

Glen is right... though his comma use is terrible...

So do you think someone from SRP is bidding that high.

For an auction with no returns accepted, whomever is bidding has more cajones than I do.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

Sure is. Up to $1750.00 now. I also think the condemned man stuff is B/S. This is what they used in jails and prisons back in the old days. The key was necessary to open the razor and the guards held on to them.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
