Default Hate to be the Party Pooper but...

    Gentlemen:

It is actually technically against the rules to set up a "Group Buy" on the forum without prior approval with the Mod Team...

I'll be honest here, I left the thread because I took the suggestion more in a joking manner...

If you guys are going to actually discuss getting together and going in together, you are going to have to take those discussions to either PM or e-mail...

SRP neither Condones nor Sponsors this activity, and if you get involved you do so at your own risk....

    The Mod Team....

Never meant to break protocal (sp?) I was just joking as you suspected, which is why I never responded to serious talk of a group buy. Sorry if I opened a can of worms. I'm often "Misunderstood"

A group buy operates much like a cooperative. I believe it is something that should be endorsed..

While it can work well, I understand the Moderators of the board NOT endorsing it because of the problems/legalities that can arise from things going sour and looking for someone to blame or to take responsibility for a failed venture. We are on the internet and don't know evryone that may want to get in the group purchase. You can see how this could be a headache for them.

    Now that IS a project....

A third of them appear to be stamped "the workman"
and may be Seneca Razor Geneva, NY stock. Some
of the upstate New York razors are even famous
but for the "others" making money is harder.
