I meant the same as you; eBay tells you to put in the maximum price you are prepared to pay and it will "bid up" on your behalf. So given that the OP is not doing what eBay tells you to do; what is his bidding practice? Originally Posted by Grizzley1

The good thing about using a sniping program is that the price isn't driven up. I saw a escher go for over $888 before I quit watching it. That price is just plain stupid.
