    I offered him $.99

Ebay wouldn't let me go with my gut instinct bid of .75

Haha, I was wondering who made that offer. I had hoped that somebody hadn't seriously wanted the thing.

Also, "made by the Solingen Company".

The seller doesn't have a clue as to what that razor is , or what it's made of . I've seen those bolsters on plenty of celluloid/plastic scales , and never on ivory ("tusk") . Also , the scales are thicker than any ivory scales I've ever seen . I will bet my asagi hone against a brick , that those scales are celluloid/plastic . IMHO the description is outright fraud , and the seller should be kicked off ebay . This may seem harsh to some of you , but suppose someone who doesn't know any better , would buy this junk to give as a gift , to one of us .

Heck, I was looking for a nice 1/8 or 2/8 blade to use under my nose. I could even pick my nose with it when I was done shaving.

Boy, that seller is really pushing the limits of outrageous. My first instinct was to spit and call them names, but really... if you are going to get on ebay and spend $200 on a razor and you end up buying THAT... chances are you probably get taken advantage of a lot and probably you should learn more about razors before spending that much money on ebay.
BTW, I liked the $ 0.99 bid, it made me laugh, in fact I almost wanted to outbid you and put down say $1.50. Of course then I'd be afraid I'd actually win the thing and would have to figure out what to do with it...
