    1920s STRAIGHT SHAVING RAZOR SOLINGEN w/ TUSK HANDLE | eBay UK

    really?

    is this some special kind of razor that in my inexperience i haven't seen yet. or is it the worn down and unusable relic i think it is..

    If i'm wrong please correct me seriously.

    It must be special,,, Somebody used that razor to the nub

    I am joking here, that is a tired old worn out Solingen razor of no unique value...
    As to the scales being "Tusk" I doubt that too, but with out touching them I couldn't say for sure...

    Unhappy Beyond My Abilities!

    From the picture, it looks like you might need 15-20 layers of tape in order to create a bevel. I think you should buy it and let us know whether or not it can be rescued. After all it is "scarce and highly collectable."

    Some one has honed the hell out of that razor! He really did get his money's worth! I wonder if I only used one razor for 50 years and touched up once a fortnight, would it look like that?

    I think it may need more tape than that.. But i don't think they sell those quantities outside of wholesale
