Thanked: 65For those why have not had their bone pulled. Here is what ebay sent
You recently listed the following listing:
300577984334 - 14F-BUCKEYE BS SUPPLY, BONE GERMAN RAZOR
Unfortunately, we had to remove your listing because of the following:
You listed an item made from bone, but did not include the species (scientific name) that it came from. We need that information to make sure the item doesn't violate our policy. We do not allow bone from an animal that produces ivory. This includes, but is not limited to elephants, walrus, whales, mammoth, boar, warthog, and hippopotamus.
If you do not know this information, please don't list the item without verifying what species it is from. Sellers are responsible for including this information.
Due to the volume of listings that exist on eBay at any given moment, it is not always possible for us to catch everything that may be prohibited. If you see any similar listings that may also violate policy, please help us by reporting the items so we can address them as well.

Thanked: 94Seen plenty of auctions say something like "scales made from organic substance with fine grain". One even described the handles as being made from I-V-O-R-Y.
But meh, I'm more interested in real endangered sea critter shell than discarded mammal tooth.
