Recently I sold straight razor on e-bay.
After few days I recive this message from buyer:

"I received the razor and seems well sharpened. The problem is that the honing wear is on the blade close to the edge and not the spine as you described in your listing. I have not looked at it magnified yet to see if the actual edge is worn.
In retrospect this wear does not appear clearly on your pictures either except for pictures 6 and 8 where you can suspect there might be some scratches (but again one cannot tell from the pics, it is only now that I look at it in person that I can see them).

I will look at it with magnification and probably shave once if it is safe and will get back to you. But clearly it was not described accurately.
"

So, anybody of you guys can explain to me what the heck this have to mean: "The problem is that the honing wear is on the blade close to the edge and not the spine as you described in your listing. I have not looked at it magnified yet to see if the actual edge is worn."

I have to say that I clerly said that hone wear on the spine is minimal but above is no word about hone wear at all.

Thx
