Stick to the people who know, you can find them in the classifieds. There is no magic, it just feels like it.

oh i have no problem with him trying to make a buck i am more commenting on the fact that he has called it a Lost DARK Art......lost art maybe so bc i assume MANY more men knew how to hone a razor many years back when straights were the only way to shave but a Dark art i don't think so

Sorry. These fellas might have some good edges. It just seems silly to describe them in this manner. Reminds me of TV commercials. I often wonder who they are talking to.

Maybe he hones on brimstone and uses the blood of virgins and pure hellfire to create slurry.

Hey, after 2012 and all the Mach 3's wear out, this will be the dark art, we can trade rice for honing a razor.....

I agree! It does feel like magic! I love to hone! I hone my own razors and I've gotten some nice compliments on my honing from others whose razors I'd honed for them or from when others have borrowed one of my razors to try. With that said; Am I on the same level as Glen, Lynn or some of the other Pros?
Nope! Not even close! I'm just a wanna be!

To put it another way, I can play baseball, but I'm not even close to being able to play in the Big Leagues! Well, maybe as a Bat Boy or a Water Boy!
Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.
