Bill,
If anyone has issue with that statement, they just need to spend more time in therapy.

Thanked: 1...and your knives aren't made of lead.
Ivo, if the razor is made of lead or from Pakistan, and you are unhappy with it, I'll pay you the entire cost of the razor since I was the one who coached you in that direction to begin with. Keep me informed...
I could always put it on the wall with my other illogical collectibles that don't work or will never be used. I could even make a time-period montage display of the razor, the working replica of my thompson sub machine gun, and an elegantly written exhibition of my witticisms.
If anyone has issue with that statement, they just need to spend more time in therapy.

I do not think you have any responsibility. I saw it, decided I liked it, just asked for some opinions. Would have gotten it anyway. The razor is made of carbon steel, says so explicitly in the text. If it said lead, I would not touch it with a stick... I plan to shave with all the razors I have but honing this one might be a problem because it is a wedge...
Now, it may be a Pakistani - not sure how to understand this? The problem with that (for me) is knowing Ilija's Pakistani ordeals... Also, I do not have a geiger so there is no way of knowing if it's radioactive... I'm kidding, but who knows.
So thank you for the offer, but there is no need for that.
Cheers

Ivo, the problem with Pakistanis isn't radioactivity. It's just that the steel is too soft and too coarse to take a proper shaving edge, which makes the user use more pressure to remove hair. My problem was that I used one before coming to this site. After Nenad helped me find my first and best that Tony H was selling and X gave me a honing lesson, I was fine, especially with Nenad's ongoing tutelage in evaluating auctions.

Thanked: 9Ilija,
I know the problem is the bad steel, but it MAY also be radioactive, hehehe, because from what I understand the Pakis were buying cheap bulk steel after WWII, and nobody knows where it came from

Is this a double whammy or what?

On a good note I never had any sexual performance issues even with a full head of hair As for shaving the rest.. It's good that I don't have to worry about that part as I'd have to do a heck of a lot more honing.

Disclaimer: I hope I am not offending anyone here - just kidding to pass the time. And, for the record, when I start to go bald, if it's any time soon, I will be shaving my head (but not sure if I'd do it with a straight
