It may not be trackable by the customer. If it doesn't show up within the estimated period you can check with canada post and they may be able to track it for you, or even easier just contact the seller. If he doesn't respond open a dispute and it'll work out.

I'd say just relax and don't obsess over what's happening with the package every second - it's highly unlikely that something will go wrong, and even more unlikely that you can make any difference by trying to track it real time

Yup, Gugi is quite right as far as I'm concerned.
Right now I am awaiting 5 parcels from different places in the world, and the tracking number on all of them are saying nothing found when checked at USPS and the Norwegian mail services.
I have no fears though, that's the norm when it comes to ebay, especially when it comes to international letters.
Knock on wood, not one has gone amiss from me yet
I've sent a couple that didn't arrive though, irritating enough, but insurance took care of those few incidents

Stay cool, most likely it will show up eventually!

Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

Just had the same situation with one from South America. the tracking was on their end. The package came in about 1week. With their tracking info on it. I did the transaction through eBay and it showed tracking on the paid section but wasn't able to do it through their site either.

Those kind of tracking numbers are trackable as follows:

    1. you have to track it on Italy post web site until it left Italy
    2. after it left Italy you have to track it on your country post web site

There is a link to Italy post Track&Trace but it does not work (at least on my computer) last few months:
    Poste Italiane - Paccocelere 3

I am not from Italy but I was waiting and sending few packages to Italy and all I can say is that their post sucks a lot. It needs more than a month to recive the package from Italy and almost 40 days that guy recive package I sent to him (in any other case when I send the package-worldwide-it took no more than 9-10 days).
    So, be prepare for waiting.
Btw. you have to write down all together (letters and numbers) without spaces (RA416337088IT).

The postal system is international. Just go to USPS track and trace and enter it. it will be on their system and as a matter of fact it may tell you more about it before it gets to the U.S than after.

Usps won't work, I hadn't considered it since I'm in Canada. It must still be in Italy. Can you believe he charged me 13 euro to ship a 1x5 coticule to toronto!? I just paid 5 euro for my escher to come from ireland!

Nah, it's most likely on it's way, Italian tracking is slow. The shipping doesn't sound unreasonable at all, postage is expensive here in Europe...

Mail from UK and Ireland is the exception usually.

Why? How much do you think are the actual shipping charges? I can tell you that from US they will be between $15 and $20.
