I guess a few folks were eyeing that one. I put it in my watch list, looked at it, looked around a bit more and looked back at them. Finally I just said screw it, I'll eat Mac and Cheese for a month if I have to.

It's not a great deal, I'd obviously be much more pleased if the last razor wasn't damaged, but 6 ivory razors in good condition for around $35 a piece is good enough for me. I also really like the razors with the thumb notches, as mentioned here, so these will fit right in.

I collect quite a bit of barbering items in general and I don't have a seven day set, so I'm happy.

If you're talking deals, I bought two C.V.H.'s for $10 on a BIN. The scales on that pair are some of the nicest antique ivory I've seen. Again, they were advertised as "some old type of plastic or maybe celluloid". Yoink. Don't mind if I do.

I also picked up an old Kropp razor, the blade was toast, but the scales were nice big ivory beaut's that were in great condition. That was $5c.

Robert - I thought we had cleared this and there was no loss involved. Guess I misunderstood - which is quite normal with me being a foreigner and all...

Anyway, I already sent you the payment for the Helje in advance. You just send it to me when you get it. No sweat if you can get one either

    Cheers
    Ivo
