Thanked: 8Altima on Ebay
Hi All,
I guess some of you may have dealt with this seller. Anyway I bought a really nice razor from him, paid him the extra $5 to ship international, he found out the price of postage and credited the extra $5 back to me.
How good is that ?.

That sounds like something he would do. I purchased a razor from him and there was an error in the listing (Henkels vs. Henckels or something like that) and as soon as the auction ended I had an email requesting I hold up payment until we could talk. He is also a member here.

I bought my first three shave-ready razors from him, a tower, silver king and griffon - nothing fancy, just nice razors - all of which arrived shaving sharp.
Great guy to deal with - we swapped several e-mails regarding strops sharpening, etc.
He usually lists 6 razors per week of varying quality - his descriptions on the razors I bought were all spot on.

Gary, that looks like a nice razor and I like the shoulderless grind. I was eyeballing that one myself when the auction was running.
I've only bought one of his razors but the description was spot on with what I received and it was a perfect transaction. That particular razor is one of my favorites.

I never bought from him but I sniped a couple of blades including a Tonsorial from under his nose. Dave did the same to him, also on a Tonsorial. Which leads me to 2 conclusions about him:
1) He has a good taste in razors
2) He's beginning to hate Canadians

Thanked: 346I bought my first razor from him, back before I joined SRP. I asked him somequestions about one of his razors and he asked me if I was planning to shave with it and if I was a newbie, then directed me towards a better starter razor that was less expensive. I recently gave that razor away to another newbie, but it was a good solid razor, not pretty but a good 'un.
