Thanked: 334I think so. You probably won't make it much worse by trying.

Thanked: 1936All I would have to do is put it to the 1K stone to see if it could be saved. If I could find good steel along the entire bevel, then I would take the time to restore it. I've learned the hard way to do it this way...
Then again I'm one of those guys that cares more about how well a razor shaves than how pretty it is. Sure, I like pretty, but what's pretty if it's useless?Southeastern Oklahoma/Northeastern Texas helper. Please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank you and God Bless, Scott

Thanked: 114I'm afraid that the razor cannot be saved. Better send it to me for proper disposal. :-)

Shooter said it right. If the bevel is intact it is fine. I like a little patina on mine better than polishing 'em up like a new dime in a goat's a$$. YMMV.

Thanked: 12After 5-10 minutes of polishing using MAAS and a paper towel, the unsaveable Wade & Butcher razor looked like this.......guess it may have been worth the 50cents I paid for it....but of course have to factor in the cost of the MAAS and paper towel.....
