NOS Gold letter Kamisori (Henkotsu)
Hey Guys,
Not sure if anyone has seen this one, but its a gold letter kamisori made by henkotsu. Auction ends in a few hours and its currently a 0-bidder at $190 starting price. I think its a pretty good deal but I've got my heart set on a different one.
Maybe soneone here is interested:

Maybe it's the photo but something doesn't look right with that razor. The profile on the unstamped side doesn't look right to me.

Buy it now is rather low for a NOS Henkotsu with gold lettering. I thought I remember reading somewhere the ones with gold lettering were made for friends and family. If that's the case I'm suspicious of the low buy it now.
Might be a great shaver though, the gambles of the bay

What about it is off? I'm a new to kamisoris so i don't see these things

looks like the forging marks are there on top of the blade..never seen this...I would leave it alone..no one has bid...

In the photo the unstamped side looks like a total wedge. It should flare kind of straight out at first and then drop to a sloping wedge. Maybe the photo I can't tell for sure. Originally Posted by fchan
