Same here. I think I saw it and the seller explicitly said he only shipped CONUS or some crazy insured international shipping for $35 or something, otherwise I would've jumped on it for $50 without blinking. You can say I'm still looking, but I hope they don't turn up for a while as I really couldn't afford any right now (and I have to unload a few razors myself first).

Okay guys, everyone is off the hook. I have temporarily slaked my thirst for a frameback by purchasing a Wostenholm IXL. I will be keeping my eyes open for another Freddie Reynolds but the urgency isn't there now. Here's my newest acquisition:

I really like the look of the razors in this thread. Hopefully someday I'll get my hands on one but I'm not much a ebay'r type. Is the term for that curvy blade called a "smiley" or "smiler"?

I find it additive trying to buy nice stuff.
off ebay dirt cheap.
Stuff i tend to buy is simple stuff razor stones hone and not
to forget useful axes and axe heads.

I was thinking about buying a file off there too.
cause i heard the newer files are not as good as the
older ones.
