Just pm me if you see any cheap ones by Iwasaki .

There is a certain furniture man that seems to be able to bring a pretty good $ for his razor auctions be they Straight or DE.

I love the smell of cedar in the morning. With times being what they are, sometimes you just have to wonder if a seller has a monkey shill bidding for them to increase the price, seems kind of curious if you ask me.

I happen to know that seller and I would vouch for his honesty without reservation. No shills necessary with his auctions.

I meant no offence Jimmy, the furniture man has quite the reputation as I have bid on a few of his auctions. I was referring to another more curious seller. It always seems as if the latter seller has the same items for auction every couple of months or so even after the item has sold and has received and given feedback.

I sell quite a few straights on ebay and I'd describe the prices at the moment as being inconsistent. There has also a reduction in the number of quality razors for restore or refresh coming up for sale.

I have to agree with johnmrson, the quality is just not there. but I can see how that would change from month to month.

I think it has a lot to do with the economy. I know when my finances aren't so great, I tend not to buy too many razors. However, when I have a surplus of money, I buy many more. Of course I do have two reasons for this obsessive compulsion. First, I have a grandson and several nephews and great-nephews who will need schooling in the manly arts. Second, I am something of a straight razor evangelist and I believe every man should own at least one straight razor. At any rate, when I make good money, those who sell straight razors on e-bay make money off me. And believe me, I am quite happy to trade green for good steel.
