Straight razors on Ebay.
Sup guys. Is it just me or does it seem like straight razors are just not selling for as much as they where 6 months ago? is the market for straights going down or what? let me know what you think!

Don't know but if what you say is true good news for me.
There are thousands of nice vintage straight razors to choice from.
That means one every buyer is happy with the number of blades
they have less buyers lower prices.
and if there are thousands listed that just means there might be millions.
waiting to be found. Cause the number of listings never seem to go down.

Plus we are in the worst ecomony in a very long time.
The masses just don't have spare money to spend on stuff that
falls in the luxury grouping of shopping.
Their just saving their money for the basics housing food etc.

In the years I've been following straight razors on ebay the tide rises, falls and rises again. I think the economy in general is down here in the USA. Let gasoline prices fall back a buck and watch stuff sell for more on ebay. Also wait for winter to set in. When people are stuck inside they are on the computer more. Anyway, what I'm getting at is that the razor market ebbs and flows. IMHO

Thanked: 2591Depends on the razor I guess, I see some nice blades sell for a lot of money.
The hyped brands still bring big dollars, which is good for the rest that shave great but sell for reasonable amounts.Stefan
