Saw this in a completed items search Large Escher Y G or Light Green 9x2 1 2 inch Thick Razor Hone | eBay Something ain't kosher here ...... If the seller gets paid for that one I'll be mighty surprised. Item number: 321011577845 in case the link goes south.

My bad, didn't see that in the bid history.

I guess it is a good deal but even as long as it is, the 5/8 thick at one end, to 1/2" thick at the other end, would have me looking elsewhere.

It does not look Y/G at all, and wedged on top of that....

It looks like a blue on top. Still a good rock! Getting hard to find, I suppose!

10" ones do not appear often from what I have seen.

If I was to run into a 10"x2" with the fitted wooden case with the 4" slurry stone I'd be getting serious. Funny part is I prefer shorter stones to actually hone on. A 5 or a 6" stone is plenty for me. Still, I'm an American so bigger must be better ...... :

I had looked at that the other night. You need to look closely at the pics. It has an approximately 3 1/4 inch crack on the surface running from the edge in a half inch or so and back out to the edge and runs maybe an eighth of an inch deep. It's going to flake off like a piece of slate. You'll see it in the image with the tape measure from the 3 to the 6. Seller also warned about it. Sent my interest in it south!!

I got a 10+ x 2 x 0.9 blue green, I like longer stones.
