It's aluminum handle. IMO.
Another fact is interesting for me: I've seen three or four similar razors/handles during the last month on eBay.Alex Ts.

I've never went for the $ but in years past I've seen a number of sterling silver scaled W&B and Joseph Rodgers with hallmarks on the scales. Most had ornate figuring cast into the scales but some were smooth. The figured pieces were quite attractive to me. I imagine the balance would be heavy towards the scales when shaving.

Thanked: 31First thing that came to mind when I saw the razor scales in the OP was 'lead'. I am probably mistaken though.
