I have to say cheetah, I kind of like your 2 GB's a tad more than my 2 GB's, specifically because I prefer wedges, and both of mine are hollow ground...

I knew trhat you'd come around my son...LMAO. Thanks sheffieldlover. The new one is a hollow ground as well so we'll have to dual it out. But yours are amazing restores. Mine are just "as is" at this point. If I start posting my 8/8's collection I def could give you a run for your money...LOL. I think I counted 12 8/8's last night. Of course I will post when I get home so the battle can continue....LOL

Cheetah, just wait for the next GB to show up on ebay. They seem pretty common lately. In all seriousness though, 2 at 10/8 in the last month or so...

Thank you - I love the wood scales almost as much as I love my razors At 12 8/8's, you definitely beat me! But I think we have different goals - my goal is to have two 7 day sets for myself ONLY - One PRIME example of each old sheffield maker, as big as it comes... Now, I have another 30 or so razors laying about, but they aren't for me, they're for sale

    Cheetah is sad right now.
Sad ? You still have $570 in your pocket instead of another razor that you don't need and you're sad ? I'll make a prediction, if you stick with this insanity long enough the day will come when you'll be relieved when you "lose" the auction. Soon the day will come when you'll be an objective observer and that will be all you'll need. At least IME. Remember Cheetah, you ain't taking any of it with you when you go.

I agree with Jimmy, I am thankful for losing many auctions in which my eyes were WAY bigger than my wallet.

GB? Bit common aren't they? I can think of one or two big razors that are a lot harder to come by
