Thanked: 1Friodur
Found what appears to my newbie eyes to be a mint condition 72 1/2 Friodur Inox 13/16" in antique shop. found the exact item at Classic Shaving.com listing for $449.00. only difference is box color. online box is red and antique shop box is white. is this an accurate price to go by?

Thanked: 1Sorry
allow me to re-phrase. Can anyone guide me in a direction that might possibly yield a fair value for this item other than above metioned web site? I do not have a price from the shop yet to know if its likeable or not or even negotiable. Thanks for any help!

This really treads close to valuation. Rather then touch that let me tell you my general rule. If you need to have it and its at a price you feel good about, get it. If you need to think twice, your probably about to over pay, so now think real hard about how bad you NEED it and think if there will be more opportunities to buy the same item in the foreseeable future; if the answer is i need it and i will never see one ever again, buy it. You will kick your self if you dont. And last but not least, if it appears to be in the condition that is not up to your par, and you know you will never bring it to the level you will be happy with it leave it on the shelf. The only way to know whether or not to buy this thing with out putting a dollar amount is knowing what you want and how much YOU want to spend. O hope this puts it in perspective.

Thanked: 1Thanks for your light hearted insult quaintly hidden in your amazing offer. Im new to all of this and just looking for a little help. facing a time crunch, I dont have time to order books or take a month to look and compare. just happened across this razor by accident today. Thought their might be something slightly authoritative for pricing this razor online somewhere but havent found anything.

Thanked: 2591We do not do valuations.
The condition, the aesthetics of the blade and scales, how much you want one , all play role in the price you are willing to pay for a razor.
Those factors vary from person to person, so therefore there is no fair value for any one razor that members here can give you. That is why I said you like the price buy it if not there is many other razors out there.Stefan
