    Default Gixen Sniper

Apparently some members use a sniper program when buying on Ebay. I've never tried it so I did a Google search and found Gixen Sniper, which supposedly is the only free program out there. Can anyone who has used it tell me the good, bad and ugly of it? If not this program, then a recommendation for another would also be appreciated. Thanks.

I use justsnipe.com, they ahve a free 5 snipes per week membership. If i am bidding on more than five items in one week, i use www.snip.pl for the extras.

I've used Gixen three or four times. It's worked perfectly so far, and the platform is very simple. You don't have to create a new account (you sign in with your ebay login); there's no software to download; and it's free.

I've got a couple of snipes set on some newbie-suitable razors. I've never tried one of these programs before because of the subscription costs, but I like the idea of "fire and forget" eBay bidding. Saves a lot of clock watching.

    Thanks for the tip!

P.S. You know this just doubled the price of Dubl Ducks...

I just tried gixen.com on a few different auctions this week based on some comments here, and I give it a big thumbs up! It works very well, and contrary to what Josh said, I think it actually saves you money, since you don't bid more than you want to pay. It was very easy.

    Jimmy,

You're right--it is great. My comment was tongue-in-cheek--hope I didn't discourage anyone from trying it out.
