your paitence will pay off im sure !!! i went up high on a few of them (not that high ) and one day i grabbed one for $124 (or around there if i remember )that is actually 1"-1&1/16" (depending on the tape measure ...lol)in better shape than the ones i was bidding around $200 for good luck in your search

aaahhh , understandable !! man that sucks that a razor made in England cant be found in Europe ... post an add in our classifieds there was a GB Anchor in the size your looking for in there a month ago or so and a lot of our members are outside the U.S. and chances are pretty good that if you get one off here and are gonna fork out the $ you are gonna be happier and be assured of a quality blade !!!

The razor from OP has been pretty heavily restored, if that's what you mean. If you look at some near NOS razors from that period, especially at the tail, the grinding was often fairly rough and not mirrored.

Man it might just be time for me too list stuff for sale on the ebay.

Do it. I've been listing some of my bigger ones for insane prices. And if you watch long enough and keep bidding low you can still catch good deals. I got recently a 17/16 Celebrated FBU for $110.
